1. Private transfer or individual arrival in Cannigione and overnight.
2. Cannigione – Santa Teresa di Gallura (38 Km). Start your first cycling day with a marvelous coastal ride to Palau, where you can admire the Maddalena archipelago. Take your lunch break in San Pasquale, a lovely village nestled on the hills overlooking the coast. Quiet country roads will take you to the charming town of Santa Teresa. A quick detour to Capo Testa offers a great view over the Bonifacio strait and Corsica.
3. Santa Teresa di Gallura – Porto Vecchio (65 Km). Today you'll travel to Bonifacio by ferry (50 minutes). Take your time to stroll around the narrow alleys of the old citadel. Then, on your way to Porto Vecchio, you'll cycle first inland and then on a beautiful costal road. Don't miss the opportunity to stop at the stunning beaches of Santa Giulia and Palombaggia and enjoy a swim in their crystal clear waters. Finally you'll reach Porto Vecchio which offers great dining and shopping options.
4. Porto Vecchio – Zonza (48 Km). This is the perfcet day for mountain lovers. The beautiful view of the coastline will make the 15 km climb to the famous Col de l’Ospédale even more enjoyable. A dramatic changing landscape will take you from the pine tree forest of the Natural park, that brings memories of the Alps, to the Ospédale reservoir, where you can enjoy a well-deserved refreshing break. The small mountain hamlet of Zonza will be your base for tonight.
5. Zonza – Sartène (40 Km). Ride through the small villages of the Alta Rocca region and descend to the Rizzanese valley, rich with vineyards. After a restoring stop to the Caldane thermal bath, your day ends in Sartène, probably the most Corsican town in Corsica.
6. Sartène – Santa Teresa di Gallura (54 Km). The winding coastal road leading to Bonifacio boasts some spectacular views and beaches as wel, including Roccaspina. Say goodbye to Corsica and take the ferry back to Santa Teresa in Sardinia.
7. Santa Teresa di Gallura - Cannigione (47 Km). Explore by bike the inland in the Gallura hills, riding through Vermentino vineyards and cork oak forests. After crossing the small villages of Bassacutena and Arzachena yo'll return to Cannigione, where you can celebrate the end of this beautiful trip.
