- Individual arrival in Policoro. Don't miss the chance to visit the Archaeological Museum. Bike fitting and briefing in the afternoon. Dinner on your own.
- POLICORO - TERRANOVA (85 km). Heading out of Policoro you will cycle through the orchards of the Ionian coast and start climbing towards the woods and peaks of Pollino, the largest National Park in Italy, until you reach your destination: Terranova.
- TERRANOVA - VIGGIANELLO (48 km). Today's route is the most challenging but also the most fascinating of the tour. After a dfficult climb, you will enter the woods of the massif and pedal through small villages and great valleys. Along the way you'll meet the towns of San Severino Lucano and Viggianello. Overnight stay at a warm, cosy inn.
- VIGGIANELLO - MARATEA (80 km). The final step will take you first to Rotonda. From there a beautiful cycle path obtained from an abandoned railway, will take you to Lake Sirino. Then, crossing the Valle del Noce you'll reach the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea.
- Breakfast and transfer to Policoro or Matera.
