- Individual arrival in Rimini. Don't miss the chance to explore its suggestive alleys, cobbled street, historic palaces, the Augustus Arch, Tiberius Bridge and the Malatesta Castle Sismondo. Dinner at a typical restaurant. Overnight in Rimini.
- RIMINI - SANTARCANGELO DI ROMAGNA (33 km, elevation gain: 496 m). The first stage of the tour is dedicated to the memory of Malatesta's family cycling along the Marecchia Valley (Val Marecchia) towards Verucchio. Perched on a rock spur and with its Rocca Malatestiana, Verrucchio attracts visitors all year round. Cycling downhill towards Villa Verucchio and Corpolò you'll reach the fascinating borgo of Santarcangelo di Romagna. Santarcangelo is ideally located between the Uso and the Marecchia rivers and protected by the Colle Giove; it is also crossed by the peculiar Tufacee Caves, (it is possible to visit them on request). Also worth a visit the castle of Paolo and Francesca, the two clandestine lovers portrayed by Dante Alighieri in the Divine Comedy. Arrival at your accommodation. Time to visit Santarcangelo. Typical dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight in Santarcangelo di Romagna.
- SANTARCANGELO DI ROMAGNA - SAN LEO (35 km, elevation gain: 900 m). Cycling over the hills dominating the Rimini hinterland, your first stop will be the Castle of Montebello (Torriana), known for the famous legend of Azzurrina. You'll continue your ride on quiet country roads crosssing the Uso and Marecchia rivers until passing by Pietracuta until you reach your destination for the day: San Leo, located in the heart of the Montefeltro area of the Alta Valmarecchia. Typical dinner and overnight in San Leo.
- SAN LEO - MONTEFIORE CONCA (41 km, elevation: 1100 m). Today you will cross three borders: first the state of San Marino, then the regional border between Romagna and Marche, the provincial border between Rimini and Pesaro-Urbino. Passing through Monte Grimano Terme e Mercatino Conca, the route continues towards Montefiore Conca, one of the most beautiful villages of Italy, with its imposing fortress, surrounded by dense woodlands, once a defensive bulwark and favourite summer residence of the Malatesta family. Dinner and overnight in Montefiore Conca.
- MONTEFIORE CONCA - RIMINI (55 km, elevation gain: 715). Today’s ride will take you through some of the most amazing locations of the whole tour. First stop is Saludecio, the town of painted walls. The trip continues to Mondaino, surrounded by unspoilt scrubland and fields; After 6 km you'll see the small towns of Montegridolfo. Passing through Tauvullia, the land of Valentino Rossi, you'll reach Gradara, with its iconic castle Gradara. Finally, you'll ride back to Rimini, where your tour ends.
