- Individual arrival in Turin, the first capital of Italy in 1861. The city is today an innovation hub of Italian industry, rich in art and culture. Dynamic and baroque, Turin wows with its renowned Egyptian museum, architectural and monumental wonders, art galleries, international events and delicious traditional food.
- Turin – Pinerolo, 51 km. After breakfast you cycle along the Po river and its small affluents on cycle paths and small roads. You reach first the hunting palace of Stupinigi, royal residence of the Savoy family and masterpiece of the architect Filippo Juvarra in rococo style; then park by park, you get to Pinerolo, medieval town, once home of the most famous schools of cavalry in Italy.
- Pinerolo – Cavour – Saluzzo, 46 km. A gentle ride along country roads crossing orchards and vineyards will take you to Cavour with its curious “Rocca”, a morainic hill - once connected to the Alpine chain - formed by the erosion of rocksjust, today classified as a Special Nature Reserve. Final destination is Saluzzo, medieval town, famous for its fruit production, above all kiwi, exported in all world .
- Saluzzo – Fossano – Benevagienna – Bra/Cherasco, 63/69 km. Today's route is medium/easy, there are some easy ups after Fossano. Along the way you can visit the castles of Manta and Costigliole, the ancient roman town of Benevagienna and its archeological area. Finally you arrive in Cherasco or in Bra (hometown of the "Slow Food" movement).
- Bra/Cherasco – Pollenzo – Barolo – Alba, 39/45 km – 55/61 km. Today you cycle in the Langhe area. First stop is Pollenzo, the roman Pollentia, known for the University of taste. Take your time to enjoy a delicious glass of wine! Then you will continue towards Alba, pedalling along the river Tanaro, a perfectly flat area, with some climbs in the way to Barolo. Alternatively, sports enthusiasts can opt for the Langhe itierary option: Bra - La Morra - Grinzane - Alba. Overnight in Alba, town of the white truffle and of the high houses-towers.
- Alba – Asti, 45-55 km. This stage is dedicated to the Roero area and you have the possibilty to choose between a shorter or longer route. You'll cross the castles of Guarene and Cisterna, the latter home of a farming museum. Overnight in Asti, a town truly rich in history, famous for its sparkling wine and the Palio.
- Asti - Terruggia, 52 km. Today, you’ll cycle across the charming Monferrato hills toward Moncalvo, taking in beautiful views along the way. In the afternoon, we’ll arrive at our hotel in a small village nestled in the Monferrato hills. Here, you can relax by the outdoor pool or, if you’d like, extend your bike ride to visit the town of Casale Monferrato (an additional 14 km round trip). This ride is of medium difficulty.
- After breakfast, your tour concludes in Terruggia. For those traveling back to Turin, we offer an optional return by private minibus. Alternatively, the hotel can arrange a private taxi to Casale Monferrato for those who prefer to catch a train there.
